Dreams

Dreams are what keeps us from going off the edge. Dreams take us to a place where we only wish we could be. Dreams are our alternative reality. Every night, that reality changes. Sometimes we remember our fabulous world and other times, its just drop of water in the ocean of forgettable things. Dreams can tell us things that we might not have noticed in our conscious state. The subconscious is able to break things down better while we're asleep and tell us this in our dreams. As you can see,  I was not able to just choose just one photo. I am a very big dreamer. I even have a dream journal that I would recommend to anyone willing to try it. After a while of writing down your dreams, they seems to become more vivid and easier to remember. You all must be thinking that I'm talking about a journal that I write down my hopes and dreams for the future, but no. I'm talking about a journal about pink zebras dancing with flowers. Those kinds of crazy-never-in-a-million-years-you-are-ever-going-to-see dreams.

Love

I have written about numerous topics. Most include some sort of pain. Whether the pain is visible to all or not isn't the point. The only topic I have yet to talk about is love. Love is in everything, even if you don't see it. Love is in a new baby being born. Love is in the way to elderly couple look at each other. Love is in death. Love is everywhere. There's no escaping it. By now some of you must be thinking, "What ha gotten into her?! What happened to all the pain and suffering in the world?" And you're right. There's no way to escape the pain in this world either. Love and pain are both in death. When we lose a loved one there's pain. Without love there would be no pain. Without pain there would be no love. When you see two elderly people holding hands and looking deeply into each others eyes, you can tell that there is love for each other.
