Want vs. Need
Everyone wants something. Everyone needs somethings. Believe it or not, there is a difference between the two. Many people want candy or new clothes or something, but some people actually need clothes and food. Some people think that if they don't have that new iPod immediately, all their friends will make fun of them and they will just die of embarrassment. Well how about if instead of going and using that money to buy an unnecessary item when you have a perfectly good iPod still working, send that money to a homeless shelter or to a food bank or maybe to the Red Cross for help down in the south. The people down south really do need your help and money. Yes you need money too, but if you're going to spend it on something you don't need when you already have one, do you really need your money then, especially if you're willing to just throw it away? There really is a difference between want and need. If I haven't made it clear then take a walk down in some under privileged neighborhoods, go to the Soup Kitchen, go anywhere where there isn't a lot of money coming in, and think, your money could help them. So please, think before you buy something you think you need but in actuality want.
